fourloves:

it’s always okay to reblog stuff from me—I’m not sure I can even think of a situation when I’d be against it.

I’d probably say something if there was something I didn’t want people reblogging.

Earlier today or yesterday sometime, I reblogged what looked like a meme picture of a really cute cat.  And the OP (who was not who I’d reblogged it from) came all the way to my blog to tell me not to reblog things from their blog.  I actually didn’t know what I’d reblogged from them, so I had to go to back and do a search to figure out what it was, and then once I did figure it out, I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what was wrong with reblogging it (or why I’d been told this and other people reblogging it didn’t seem to have been told).

But I removed it, I mean far be it from me to tell someone else that “I’m going to reblog this no matter what you say, because I feel like being an ass today.”  But it did confuse me, and still does.  And I still don’t know whether the person had a no-reblogging policy that I somehow missed (I don’t check the blog of the OP every time I reblog something that’s been reblogged already by the time it hits my dash), or whether it was something personal towards me, or something totally different that I am not picking up on.  Social stuff is weird.

But yes, you can reblog stuff from me unless I explicitly state otherwise.  I mean try not to be an ass while reblogging it, but that goes for anything, really, the try not to be an ass thing.
