Am I the only autistic person who isn’t obsessed with anime, comics, or fandoms?
No you’re not. I have certain things I guess I’m a fan of, but I’m not obsessed with them and I can’t seem to fit in with fandoms. Fandoms seem to involve a level of analyzing everything that I’m not capable of. Like the degree of literary analysis that happens in some fandoms reminds me of English class. Most of my online friends seem to be really into fandoms though so I feel like the exception, even when I like the same books, movies, or shows they like, it’s just not the same. And I like comics but I’ve never been obsessed with them. Same with (a little) anime. They’ve been interests for me, but not huge interests.
