Also, I somehow find it grimly reassuring that Cameron West, who has been publicly multiple since 1999, gone on TV, written a memoir, and had freakin’ tests done on their brainwaves, still gets a ton of people who say it’s all an act.

Fifteen years, and people are still saying it.

It’s kind of nice to know that no, seriously, EVERY MULTI ON THE FUCKING PLANET gets this.  It’s not you.  It’s not you being too weird, or too tumblr, or not traumatized enough.  It’s THEM.  You can be as “good” a multiple as possible, and people will still disbelieve you.  Cameron West is as textbook as it gets, they’ve been filmed and tested and diagnosed and gone through just about every fucking test under the sun, and there are still tons of people who’re sure it’s all faked for the delicious attention and money.

These people will never be satisfied.  You could have God his own self (or Richard Dawkins, take your pick) come down with his True Multiple stamp, and they’ll STILL say you snowed him.  It’s not you being too weird.  It’s them.  It’s all them.

All you can do is try to keep your dignity as best you can, and keep on going.
