The main ones that cause me the most trouble are gastroparesis, GERD, adrenal insufficiency (secondary, severe), myasthenia (either gravis or hereditary), bronchiectasis, autonomic dysfunction, neuropathy, central sleep apnea, obstructive sleep apnea, migraine, trigeminal neuralgia, hypermobility, and autistic catatonia. There’s a list about three times as long but a lot of them are duplicates of each other, or things that are all really caused by one thing, or really minor stuff.
And part of the problem is the way that several of those mess with each other in ways they wouldn’t do alone. Such as: gastroparesis leads to buildup of bile which leads to reflux which the bipap for the sleep apnea pushes into my lungs and then the bronchiectasis guarantees a long drawn-out infection (which often leads to adrenal crisis unless I triple my steroid dose) which may guarantee more lung damage meaning worsening bronchiectasis. Things like that.
I also just got over meningitis and a lung infection, one after the other, and that Is Not Helping Things.
Thank you for adding the second question, or I would’ve probably gotten snarky, I’m having a very grouchy day. :-)
