steepravine: Little Squirrel Mountaineer I couldn’t believe the agility of this squirrel - the other side of that rock is 1,000 feet straight down, but he didn’t give a SHIT. (Echo Peak, California - 8/2014) Wow.  And I know for a fact squirrels aren’t born fearless.  (I’ve seen a baby squirrel petrified to make a jump, and the mother had to half carry and half throw him over this tiny gap between a tree and a house.  I also learned that day that exasperated mothers’ facial expressions look identical on all mammals.)
