To be honest, I think there is nothing funny or ‘random’ about meanness and cattiness and offensiveness for the sake of being offensive. And it’s pretty nasty and disingenous how everyone’s waving off Joan Rivers’s more unpleasant side and saying “She just said what people were thinking!” Nah we don’t all think those things and even if do they’re still wrong.

I watched her Fashion Police show once and Gabourey Sidibe’s photo appeared on the screen. And EVERYONE had something nice to say about her. They said how nice that shade of yellow looked on her, and how she seemed to be glowing with happiness. And Joan just farted all over the whole thing, saying, “She’s happy because she spotted the buffet table.”

NOBODY was thinking that except her.

I’ve noticed a lot of assholes think they’re just saying what everyone is thinking but afraid to say.  When, no, they’re just being assholes.
