This is interesting because I grew up with a best friend who is deaf and his mother hardly knew any signs.  I never realized until I got older how sad that is.  No wonder he ended up so troubled.  This is not okay.  Take responsibility for your kids, okay?  If you can bring a child into the world then you should be prepared to adjust.  Fucking parents.
