more Harry Potter trans headcanons
Hogwarts letters being delivered to trans kids with the correct name and pronouns. And, if they’re not out or don’t want certain people to know, those people see the names and pronouns they’re expecting to see.
And the letters also containing information, visible only to the kid, about ways Hogwarts can help them with safety or transition or support from adult witches and wizards who have been there. And instructions for summoning help if they’re not safe at home or need someone to talk to.
(This is also an AU where Hogwarts actually cares about students and the wellbeing of children they’re responsible for.)
