Thank you.  I’ve known a lot of people who did what you did as a child.  I hid sometimes, otherwise I ended up smack in the middle of recess not knowing what on earth I was doing there but having no clue how to get out.  I remember hearing kids say their favorite subject was recess, and being utterly incredulous.
