➸ Surgeons Accepting Medicare For FTM and MTF Surgeries

Key(though I’m still working on it-hence the Black): FTM-Green. MTF-Blue. Both-Gold. Grey, is the grey, uncertain area.

Some are waiting for more information from Medicare, and so they are Red, for now.
This is the preliminary map of known surgeons accepting Medicare.

HELP!!!

We need people to call their local teaching hospitals and see if they have a surgeon who is willing to perform whichever transgender surgery you are in need of.

If you find one, please let us know! Please be patient as we are just getting word in and working as hard as we can to get as many surgeons as we can who will perform surgery for both FTM and MTF (and possibly strong arm some surgeons who are undecided! :) ).

If you know of any surgeons which are not listed, email: medicaretransgender@aol.com, with the subject title “surgeon for map.” Please include as much detail as possible: name, address, number, email, website, which surgeries they perform. Thanks!

Oof! Dr Rumer isn’t taking it YET, but… maybe soon? Oh gosh I need this, please tell me she’s going to start. This would make things so much easier…
