I *desperately* want to know who “dipshit” has ever been a slur against.

I’m a little afraid to know, to be honest.  And I’m still alarmed by how rapidly the response came about.  Like, I’d posted the thing about the guy being a dipshit and before I even looked up there’s this anon telling me not to say dipshit because it’s a slur.

This just… encapsulates everything wrong with things hereabouts.

  1. toreblogallthethings said: The speed of the response makes me think it was quite possibily the *same* person, sending the initial message to your other blog, then sending the anon trolling message to your tumblr. Some folks like this sort of thing, horribily enough.
  2. toreblogallthethings said: I suspect this is may be people just being mean to you /personally/, and using a tactic you’ve mentioned as finding hurtful. It’s no less aweful, but it may be more localized.
