*sigh*
This is what happens when you try to over-analyze a word I’ve used, when I’ve already told you not to over-analyze a word I’ve used.
When I used ‘organization’ in the context of LW, I meant all of the groups of people associated with LW. Formal organizations. Informal groups. Nebulous blobs of people that fall somewhere in between. All of the above. Taken together, as a whole.
This is why I hate trying to have conversations about LW, because somehow it always turns into someone trying to pin down my words, rather than understand what I meant by them. And somehow it always comes down to what they think I meant, rather than what I say I meant.
And this happens more frequently in the context of conversations about LW than it happens in any other kind of conversations I ever have, anywhere, and that's yet another red flag for me that something weird is going on. Like this kind of conversation can practically be guaranteed, which is why I don’t talk about LW as often as I might want to. There’s a lot I’d have to say about it if I could be sure I wasn’t going to be spending most of the conversation dealing with people second-guessing my word choices. Which is hell if you have a language disability anything like mine.
