I love her name. 1965 is my birth year.
I love her name too, it’s why I picked it for a middle name. I really love it, it has character, and I’ve never met a Voicy I wasn’t related to, although I’m sure they exist (the name had to come from somewhere – why am I picturing extremely loud crying babies!?).
Then you are one year older than my oldest brother. He was born in 1966. I was born in 1980, I was the whoops kid nobody expected but was definitely wanted once I got here. :-P
I get my Voicies confused in my family but I think this is my great-grandmother or great-great-grandmother.
I also have a great-aunt Voicy who is still alive. She has really bad dementia. They got some money from finding oil on their farm in Arkansas, and they apparently got her a convertible with it that she likes to be driven around in. From what my parents say, her personality hasn’t changed much, she’s still a really nice person, but her memory is so bad she can’t really last five minutes before she gets lost. I met her before the dementia, and she talked about how for a long time she couldn’t stand her name, but she grew into it.
I would like to grow into Voicy as a middle name. I just love the name.
