Reminder about tagging food.
I know a lot of people do really well at tagging food under most circumstances. But if the food in question is being fed to an animal or associated with an animal in some way, suddenly it’s not tagged #food anymore and I have to manually add the tag when reblogging instead of just hitting the quick reblog button.
I’m not saying that you have to tag #food for dog food. But I keep seeing pictures of guinea pigs eating vegetables (or just standing near vegetables) that look exactly like the same vegetables humans eat, because they are the same vegetables (and fruits) that humans eat. And nobody’s tagging that #food. I’d think that if someone’s trying to avoid pictures of food, the fact that there are guinea pigs in the photo won’t change the fact that there’s recognizably human-oriented food in the photo as well.
So can people please remember to tag #food for any instance of food that looks like anything a human would eat, even if it’s not a human that’s going to be eating it? Because I don’t imagine it’s pleasant to be going through cute animal pictures and get triggered in some way by food just because people have forgotten that broccoli (or something like that) is something humans eat and therefore react to when we see it visually.
