…that I may be unpredictable as to what conversations I’m able to take part in, and when. Like I may be fine one minute taking part in a moderately stressful discussion, and then have to check out the next minute when I realize my cortisol levels can’t take this. Other discussions, even ones that don’t seem as if they should be stressful, I might not even be able to start taking part in let alone continue. I know that’s unpredictable and I know it’s potentially aggravating, but I have to make sure that my father’s cancer doesn’t affect my adrenal insufficiency, and since I’m pretty bad at monitoring my body’s signals of stress, I might have to just suddenly disengage from stuff, with no warning. Even with the dexamethasone this is hitting me hard.
