Anonymous asked: Hey, you should know that just up and deleting the youneedacat url (instead of keeping it with a redirect to the new name) means anyone clicking a link to your posts gets a not found page with a gif. Including anyone who was browsing your tumblr when you changed and tried to get a permalink to a post. I think most people get around this by blanking the old tumblr and leaving a note saying "now at [newname]"
