im so glad this is a thing, i was worried that i was using the wrong word but this is a thing
Ever since I was 16, I started getting extreme nausea and vomitng when traveling to new places. Not from the travel itself. It always happened after I was in the new place.
Ever since I was 16, I’ve been susceptible to motion sickness.
An autism researcher finally put it together for me: My visual perception sucks so badly that in a new place, it’s just like a jumble of colors all jumping around. This gives me this kind of visual motion sickness. Prior to age 16, it just made things look weird and I kind of played with it for fun. After, I became capable of motion sickness and it all went downhill from there.
