I am also bored. I’m supposed to be studying but can’t seem to get my brain to boot up.I should be writing poems or cleaning dishes
I just wrote a poem. It’s hard to tell what is more satisfying, though. Writing a poem is satisfying in one way. Cleaning dishes is satisfying in another way. And both have to be done. At least… for me, the fire of creativity burns so intensely sometimes that poetry and other art forms become something different than an optional pastime. They can become more important than housework, even when the housework is super-important.
I hope you manage to do one or the other. And if you can’t do one or the other, I hope you don’t beat yourself up too bad even if the dishes are flat-out necessary.
